About Darren Reinke
On a mission to transform the way people managers live and lead.

Darren Reinke is on a mission to transform the way people managers live and lead. No longer the reason people quit companies, Savage Systems exists to turn people managers into leaders who amplify the talent, performance, and potential of their teams and organizations.
Darren started Savage Systems in response to what he repeatedly witnessed during his years as a consultant. Time and again, he saw organizations struggle—not because of strategy or talent, but because leaders weren’t equipped to lead and teams became dysfunctional as a result. Leaders lacked the systems, clarity, and habits required to lead effectively. Even brilliant, well-intentioned people fell short.
That realization sparked an awakening.
While Darren could help companies grow through strategy and execution, he saw an opportunity to make a more profound and lasting impact by focusing on the people who ultimately determine success or failure: people managers.
At its core, Darren’s work is about helping leaders win on their terms—without sacrificing their values, their people, or themselves.
Today, Savage Systems partners with leaders and teams across Fortune 500s, high-growth startups, and community-changing nonprofits to help them navigate change, build confidence, and develop the habits that drive sustained success.
Before launching Savage Systems, Darren held leadership roles at Accenture, Gap, and Neutrogena, gaining firsthand experience guiding high-performing teams through complex challenges. He earned his MBA from UC Berkeley and graduated with highest honors from UC Davis.
Darren is also the author of The Savage Leader and host of The Savage Leader Podcast.
Outside of work, Darren enjoys spending time in the mountains snowboarding with his family and proudly supporting his sons in their year-round sports, from baseball to soccer.
